Dr. Heather Brookman, OMD has over 16 years of experience in the healthcare field both as a Registered Nurse and an Oriental Medicine Doctor. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia and her Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. She completed an internship in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, China. Her extensive background in the Western medical field coupled with her knowledge and experience in Oriental Medicine allow Dr. Brookman to view and treat patients using an integrative approach to their illnesses or conditions. Dr. Brookman has collaborated successfully with physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, nutritionists, massage therapists, and other practitioners to ensure the best treatment outcomes for her patients.
DR. RICHMAN IS CURRENTLY ON SABBATICAL
Dr. Naomi Richman is the founder of Acupuncture Vegas and Bee Well Kidz (www.BeeWell.com). She received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA. While in Los Angeles, she held residencies at Cri-Help addiction treatment facility and at UCLA’s Arthur Ashe Health Center. In her professional career she has worked in concert with MDs, physical, occupational and speech therapists, chiropractors, naturopathic physicians, osteopathic physicians, psychologists and psychiatrists, homeopaths, massage and craniosacral therapists as well as a variety of other healthcare providers. Dr. Richman received extensive postgraduate training in the US, at Xi Yan Hospital in Beijing, China and at the prestigious Kyung Hee University Hospital in South Korea in both gynecology and Pediatric Oriental Medicine. Dr. Richman has edited two books on Oriental Medicine and sits on the International Advisory Board for the Holistic Pediatric Alliance. She teaches and lectures both locally and nationally.
Dr. Jaget is a Las Vegas Native. She gained notoriety as a local tennis star, where she was nationally ranked and appeared in the finals of National Championship. While on a recruiting trip to play tennis at a University, Dr. Jaget was injured in an automobile accident. After being told by multiple physicians that her playing days, and ultimately her tennis scholarship were in jeopardy, she found healing hands from a Chiropractor. That experience would change the course of her life. Tennis became a means to study pre-med and ultimately go on to Chiropractic graduate school. Dr. Jaget would find her husband there and together they would create one of the most successful chain of chiropractic offices in Las Vegas. After retiring from practice in 2006… former patients, friends, and community members would continually make their way to Dr. Jaget’s private home in order to maintain and enjoy her healing, chiropractic spinal adjustments. This has prompted her to return to the art that she spent so many years developing and sharing. Today, Dr. Jaget is focused on ‘well-patient’ care. Her office promotes a convenient change to intimidating, burdensome modern offices. Patients can get the treatment they need without delay in a low-stress, friendly, respectful environment.
